PRODUCTION PRELIMINARY EVALUATION

PRODUCTION
During the production stage of the video, Sophie the director worked closely with George the camera man in order to achieve professional looking shots which they took from the storyboard which me and Ellie created. Sophie made the decisions as to what sections of the video would be filmed referring back to the storyboard. The storyboard meant that everything was easy to do as it was organised so the shots could be ticked off. Sophie would tell George the cameraman which shot to do and which angle it needed to be taken at in order to get the filming done accurately and as quickly as possible. Although there were a few changes to the roles due to bad decisions made in the pre-production stages however they were quickly resolved by the class when making joint decisions which worked better .Once during filming, we hired a technician who showed us how to use the lighting facilities so we could learn how to use them ourselves later on. Problems occured when people were off sick so we has to re-evaluate the ituation and continue with making the video. Although there weren't many problems during this, it made filming last longer than it could have been. This has made me realise that there will be issues when I am filming my video and that I will need to be able to work around potential problems. I know that I will always need a plan B incase plan A is jeopardised.
